Aeris Atmos 2 backlight

I just tried using backlight on my Atmos 2 computer and realized that backlight is very dim (essentially lights up only a small portion of the screen edge, can't read any actual numbers). Battery is new and battery indicator shows "full charge".
Is this something that can be repaired?

Very interested in this, I have the Aeris Elite T3 with the same problem. I just put a new battery in it, and didn't seem to make any difference.

Called Aeris, was told that they can fix this for $110 + $10 S/H. Got to mail it in, turnaround is 1 week +.

Not worth the fix price to me. I always carry a light, and if it is too dark to see my computer, I can use it.

Same here. I don't think it's a fair price to replace a bulb/led either.
I'll just use a flashlight for now and eventually buy a new computer - from another maker, of course. I can't change their business practices, but I can vote with my $$.

I have been looking for an excuse to buy a new Atomic Cobalt. I will probably do the same in the near future. If they come out with a hoseless version, I would buy it now.

Unfortunately, we're unable to offer repairs to specific problems - for that price, you receive back an essentially brand new unit with a one-year warranty.
