Problem with syncing Mares Matrix to DiveOrganizer

Just got a Mares Matrix computer, and am trying to sync it up with the DiveOrganizer software, but eveytime I attempt to select a computer from the dropdown menu, I get the message "Model Selection Unsuccessful", and it asks me to "exit from wizard or check connection". I've downloaded the software three times and have spent a while fiddling with the connection between the computer and the dock, and still nothing. Anyone have this problem, or have a solution? Thanks!!

sorry, figured it out - i needed to plug the cord into a usb 3.0 port instead of a 2.0
