To the greatest extent possible DSS gear is manufactured in the US using domestic materials.

We produce in house:

All backplates (Kydex and Stainless Steel)
Much of the stainless hardware. (We don't have a forge shop so bolt snaps are imported)
All wings and other inflatables using materials from domestic mill for the Ballistic Nylons and urethane films
All injection molded items, i.e. all the wing fittings, OPV's etc. with the exception of the power inflator.
The stainless spring in the OPV is domestic
The webbing we use is sourced from a domestic mill
We also produce in house all injection molds, welding dies, and necessary jigs and fixtures.
The embroidery is done locally.

In short if we can possibly do it in house with domestic materials we do.
