Well, she lost her westward movement and is going ashore in the Florida panhandle area. Sure could have used the rain in Texas. :(
 
I can assure you, Don, they can also use the rain just as much there, in No. FL. The springs in & around Cave Country are seriously depleted. At Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State park, when I started cave diving the water level was up to the bottom of the stairs in the Peacock I basin. It is now nearly a 4- 5 ft drop from the bottom step to the water's surface. This is what I have seen just in the course of only 3 yrs. No, it will not entirely undo more than a decade of drought, but every little bit will certainly help.
