Greetings nikonians and divers alike.

I just want to share a video shot on a muck dive taken at Kapas Island, Terengganu, Malaysia.
This is my first dive with a dslr after an upgrade from a p&s.
First of all, sorry for the shaky footage.
Im trying to get my hands on a gorillapod and
will get it wet possibly this weekend.

Im using a 60mm D. On this particular video, i use AF.
But on later dives, i started to use MF with the focus gear given and
it made a lot difference. Perfect for macros.
Been loving it ever since.

So do watch it (in HD would be nice) and any c&c would be most welcome.

Cheers :D

What type/brand of gorillapod would you use U/W?

"slr zoom" if im not mistaken.
It says that it can take 3kg of weight.
But lets see how it does tomorrow.

Nice video.

Very neat. What housing are you using? I'm interested in trying some macro video in the future. Debating if I should bother getting the MF macro port or the AF version. If you rig yours for MF (i.e. with zoom gear) can you still access AF if desired?

Im using ikelite.
I just took one of the zoom gear which came with the housing and it works just fine the 60mm D.
AF or MF that depends on the user.
Personally, i find it hard using AF.
And No, u must choose to AF or Mf before a dive.
I kinda wish i can switch to AF to MF or vice versa during the dive.
That would be cool..

Yeah, having the option would be pretty nice. I can definitely see the appeal of MF for video, but having AF (or at least the option to get back to AF) for stills would be ideal.

Thanks again for sharing!
