Veterans with Disabilities and Gold Star Families who have lost loved ones in Military service are featured in a thirty minute CNN Headline news (HLN) report July 4th at 6pm & 9pm central time, and again July 7 & 8 at 1pm central time.
The CNN HLN news team followed Diveheart to the Florida Keys in April as they took Gold Star Families and Veterans with disabilities on a life changing scuba adventure trip.
The journey was amazing as these two groups of people traveled together facing new challenges and working together with the goal of finding common ground in each others "new normal".
The ultimate challenge was to, in some way, help both groups experience healing during their shared journey. The stories are powerful and moving and we hope you will share them with others.
