I know that the tec-diving denizens of SB have not always been a fan of the contents of Wikipedia diving related articles, but I think the recently revamped article on decompression diving is well worth a read for this with the time and inclination.

Of course! Mine all taste like silicone. I can see it now, "crap is the O2 the cherry flavored or the grape?" lol

deco is always better when your gas tastes like strawberries :D
 
I've seen flavored mouthpieces being used with deco cylinders - not nice flavors, unknown to...and with much disgust by the diver concerned upon discovery. :)

I just read an article in Diving mag that said some manufacturer is starting to put some sort of vanilla extract in the reg hose so they don't have such a rubber taste. What wieners we have become...
