I'm a Fish!
As someone ( an oilfield saturation diver ) who used to sip from huge tube-trailers of pure helium - 2 million ft3 per quad! - this recent news is indeed unsettling...:

Shortage of helium causes a wide range of problems

Read it & weep, all ye explorers of the deep.

With lamentations,
DSD

Look at the bright side - we all get to be really narc'd

Gotta figure a way to get nice and narced over thanksgiving to better enjoy all the huge floats out front of Macy's which I suspect will be able to source helium...

Could be hydrogen filled!!!

There is a party store nearby I'm thinking of volunteering at for the free helium......kids can find their own.
