Got my wife a medium Aqualung Libra with is real nice, fits great in the shoulders, but it needs a few more inches in the belt region (don't go there) when wearing an 8/7 mil Solafx wetsuit. Mediums is as big as they go in this BCD. My med Balance is too much on her.

I called Aqualung and they said they can take out the original belt and sew in a longer one. $30, few days turn around, give you 6" on both sides. Seems reasonable to me.

Just wondering if anyone has had this done and any issues there in. Thanks for any responses.

Many of the AL BCDs have removable cummerbunds which can be switched out for various sizes. I'm not sure of the specifics on that BCD, but since it's a women's BCD, it may have a Lycra front attaching to the cummerbund similar to the DIva. $30 to get a good fit is a no-brainer.
