apeks 1st stage regulator questions

Hi Everyone
I have just bourght some apeks ds4 and dst xtx regs for tech diving. i was reading on the internet that the ds4 1st stages come with four "medium pressure" ports. (3/8") i was wondering why these are not low pressure ports and what the difference between low pressure and high pressure ports are and why they are not all low pressure?
Also, i have all my regs assembled now and i bought them all new. i was wondering if a normal low pressure inflator would fit in my first stage?
Also i was wondering if i was to buy any other low pressure hose, e.g halcyon, will this fit my regs and work well enough?

Medium and low pressure are the same as far as regulators are concerned. Intermediate pressure is the same on an apeks as it is on any other reg. 140 from factory.

And any nirmal inflator will work. As long as you have one that is the proper connector for your bcd or drysuit.

High pressure (HP) port is what you hook up your gauge to.
