I'm just looking for input on these BCD's. I can get one from my LDS for under $300. Is it a good BCD or would I be better going with a diff brand? It's the intrigue, and I'm not looking at it for travel.

H2Odyssey is not one of the more popular scuba brands. I did not even know they made BCs, I thought they just sold redundant air sources. My recommendation is to stick with a more established brand. For example Leisure Pro sells an Aeris BC for less than $200 and Piranha Dive Mfg. has a sale on Seac Sub going on.
