New XR-2 and Pre-existing XR-2 Logs

Hi, I replaced my 5 year old XR-2 in kind, the only glitch is I can't download. The USB connection is found immediately but when I try to download I quickly get a timeout message.

I'm thinking maybe I need to change the serial number which came from the old computer? I don't see any straightforward way to go about that.

Do I need to un-install then re-install the software and set it up with the new computer, create a new log and then import my old log?

OK reeally I blow myself away sometimes. The new computer is an Atmos2 not XR-2. Once I set that in the software it connected and downloaded.
