Hey guys, I bought an Aqua Lung Axiom (non I3) in size M/L. I just returned it to my shop and got the M instead because the M/L was too big. Anyhow, my shop just had me keep the power inflator connected to my M/L, and she put it on my M. She also had me keep my inflator hose as well.

Are the sizes of the AL power inflators (and their hoses) standard? I believe that my inflator is called the "powerline inflator."

On http://www.aqualung.com/us/pdf/12_AL_Consumer_Buyers_Guide.pdf it looks like there is only one size powerline inflator. Maybe just the hoses are different sizes..hmm..

Inflators are a standard size I am not sure of the hoses but they probably are.

Interesting, I did not know that the inflators were standard sized.

Does AL have parts breakdowns on their site? It's quite conceivable that inflater hose length may vary between the extremes of the size range.

Unless an expert steps forward the next easiest thing is probably to go back and compare the two.

Well I called another location of the same scuba shop, and he said that he thinks that the M and M/L use the same size inflator, but (might) be different between the small and the Large/Extra Large. But I think that that the inflator might be a standard size being that the catalogue only shows one. But the hose is another issue. I guess that could vary between the sizes. Someone here has to know for sure about AL products

I would expect hose length to be the only variable.

Why not post your question on the AL manufacturers forum? They should be there to respond with authority.
