I'm new to this forum so I hope members wont mind me asking a question in my first post.

I'm looking to buy a new dive computer and have narrowed my choice down to the Oceanic Veo 3.0 or the Uwatec Aladin 2g - reasons for these two choices are the fact that they have user replaceable batteries, are large puck style computers (my personal preference), 2 gas switching capability (I may want to go Tec in the future), backlights and air, nitrox and gauge modes.

I'm not that clued up on the finer technical details of computers and, as far as I can tell, they both have similar specifications and are similarly priced. Does anyone on the Forum have any experience of these two computers and can offer advice on which the better buy might be?

Many thanks for any help and advice anyone can offer.

Best wishes, Phil.
