This Thursday is our monthly CHUM meeting! Our guest speaker will be Shelley DuPuy from Flower Garden Banks NMS, speaking about the mapping of the USS Hatteras, a Civil War shipwreck, which was recently the topic of a Houston Chronicle article.
October's meeting is also TrashFest Veterans Night. Wear your TrashFest tshirt (from any year) to help celebrate another successful TrashFest!
The meeting will be at the Stag's Head Pub (2128 Portsmouth Street), which is just off Shepherd near US-59. The meeting will begin at 7:30p, but feel free to come early and stay late to visit with members and guests.
