I just ordered a Genesis GR450. I always take my regulator into my local shop for yearly service to keep the warranty in effect and for safety. Do the parts in this regulator have a lifetime warranty like most others?
I'm answering my own question again. The answer, much to my surprise and regret, is no. This is what Genesis website says; "Each Genesis regulator owner's manual comes with 2 coupons to be redeemed for a free parts kit, by your authorized Genesis Scuba dealer. Labor charges are not covered under the warranty program." (In other words, after two overhauls we will be paying for the parts.) The dealer I bought it from says the kit, #PK 400, is used in many regulators and is not expensive.
