A couple weeks ago I went on a liveaboard around Komodo island. Of course the diving was amazing, and I will be posting photos and videos of that later; but I also took two R/C aircraft with me for doing aerial photography, a tricopter and a twin motor airplane.
I still have a lot of videos to edit, but for the time being I just finished uploading the first one, Sunset at Pulau Lawalaut.

Sunset at Pulau Lawalaut

(Edit: I can't see the video I embedded, I thought the code needed was, replacing {} for square brackets, {youtubehq}dBkYSALVvf4{/youtubehq} . What am I doing wrong?)

It was shot with the tricopter and, as the rest of the aerial stuff, a GoPro Hero2 camera.

Here's a sneak peek on what is to come.

Going through "The Cauldron" amazing dive site North of Komodo.

Great shots ... the curious eagle is a nice bonus, and I loved the video!

Just curious ... did you have any overweight luggage charges?

Yes, the eagle shot was amazing, but the highlight I think is the mantas feeding... just wait and you'll see.
Only for the flight from Labuan Bajo to Bali, I was a couple kilos over the limit, 18 instead of 16 I think.

Lovely video, just imagine flying on the islands
Nice shots, the eagle is my fav too, beautiful.
but why there's vignetes on the left corners of the pics.

Wisnu, the vignette is part of the airplane's nose that is visible in the frame, as you may know the GoPro has a very wide lens. In any case after I stabilize the video in post processing the original footage is cropped a little and most, if not all the vignetting will go away.

Loved the video! Great music! amazing eagle and manta ray shots! Super cool!
