Vintage Double Hose ? View topic - Help needed recovering dive gear

On Saturday, December 15th, a dive accident at the Monterey Breakwater almost claimed the life of student diver Kerry Franciscovich of Napa.

During one of the skill lessons on her first open water training dive, Kerry inhaled a large quantity of sea water and was rescued by her fiancé Scott Cassell (who was nearby, observing the dive), and assisted on shore by the U.S. Coast Guard and several other helpful divers in the area. Fortunately, Kerry survived the incident, and after several days on life support and intensive care in the hospital she is now at home recovering. Scott and Kerry are grateful to the people who helped save her, cared for her, and for the support they are receiving from the diving community.

During the rescue and rush to the hospital, both Scott and Kerry’s personal dive gear was left at the scene and apparently recovered by other divers. California Diver is seeking your assistance in recovering Kerry and Scott’s dive gear. With large medical bills and the trauma of a near-death experience, it’s the least we can do as a community to help them out.

One of Scott's missing items is a U.S Divers DA – Aqua Master Serial# 251539 with a Phoenix Adapter.

If you have recovered any of this gear or know someone who did, please contact California Diver Magazine at the link provided in their original article:
