Dive/snorkle spot for whale shark in maldive

Hi all?
I am going to maldive on late january. Any dive/snorkling spot to see whaleshark during january? I am not going with LOB so dive spot that can be reachable by day boat dive trip is the one I'm looking for.

Hi Coralgirl. I would suggest you visit South Ari Atoll where whale sharks (and manta) are prevalent that time of year (December through April).

We have been seeing whalesharks consistently in the past weeks at the South Ari Atoll Whale Shark point! Definitely a good spot and a good time to come. All the resorts in the area do day trips, I believe. I am based at Conrad.
