Yesterday was a great day !! Perfect weather, lots of fun, great people, great cause and one of the most unique dive opportunities around, not to mention 60' to 100' viz. Our group of 12 divers had a blast, and were proud to be a part of. Added Bonus, some brief hang time with each DrBill, Ken and Karl from the Chamber :)

And here's the "official" group shot we took from the awards stage:

Great to see you again Ken, thanks for helping increase my vocabulary The divers came up with some cool "Treasure"

To all the great folks, volunteers, and sponsors who make the Avalon U/W Cleanup the great SoCal SCUBA event of the year, thank you!

Thanks to all those who attended and supported this great event. By the way, Keb, I need a second take on your intro to the Silver Tongued Devil Award. My second camcorder battery ran dry prematurely and I had to rush up to the house to get a third one.

Did anybody take any underwater video or photo of the work?

I was slaving away at the office, or otherwise I would have joined in.

Hey Ken, any chance I can get a full-sized version of the group photo to insert into the "official" video of the event?

HD: I didn't shoot underwater due to having to film topside before and after, but I know there were some who were filming below the surface.

What was the "most interesting" item found? I heard someone found a ggarbage disposal, was that it?

4 dive sites, 1. Casino, 2. Step beach 3. Pier, 4. Lovers cove...461 divers, and 2.5 tons of trash removed!
