In 2012 the reputed UW Videographer Danny Van Belle (Danny Van Belle - Marine Wildlife Videographer) decided to arrange his Hugycup competition on board the SMY Ondina during 3 months sailing and diving the Komodo Straits.(Hugycup 2012 - International Underwater Photo & Video Contest)
The experience was a real success and both photographers and SMY Ondina were extremely happy with the results and good atmosphere during all 3 months and 10 back to back cruises !!.

For many years now SMY Ondina has been supporting and sponsoring many of the most renoun photo and video competitions worldwide and welcoming photo and video champs and TV crews onboard.
