Looking to Liveaboard, Maldives, March 15th

Hey guys!

Looking to do a live-aboard trip to the Maldives during 15th of March 2013 for a week.
Travelling solo and looking to do quality diving with fun people.
Diving is priority so standard room also seems fine.
Would also need full scuba gear rental.

On a budget trip (1200-1800 USD)
Any suggestions ?

I don't want to burst you buble but... 2 weeks before going, budget trip and high season, it's going to be difficult to find a good place...

However, eventually look at some last minute deals, sometimes it's possible to find good deals on good boats at last minute.

Read between the lines, meaning even if you find the cheapest deal, make sure about all the things you may have to pay on top of the price (3rd dive, night dive, torch and hook if you don't have it and so on.)

On some boats, the supplements can deffinitely increase dramatically the budget, on some others everything is included, but they are not usually the cheapest at the beginning.

Understand as well that, in a country like the Maldives, where everything is imported, you get what you paid for. It can still be really nice, but don't expect 5 start restaurant food on a budget liveboard/guesthouse/hotel for example.
