I am planning a trip to Germany in May. During this time I will be offering a sidemount clinic and sidemount class. The dates for the clinic and class are May 18-20. This is the holiday weekend of Pfingsten in Germany. Here is a link with more information - Sidemount Event Hemmoor « Rob Neto - for anyone who can read German. For those who cannot read German, the clinic is a 1-day event and the class is a 2-day event. Here are the details of each:
1-day clinic - 150 EUR
Half day of information presented about sidemount, different sidemount systems, modifications, customizing, and trimming out. A dive with one of 6 different sidemount systems I will be bringing with e to Germany.
2-day clinic - 250 EUR
Half day or so of information presented about sidemount, different sidemount systems, modifications, customizing, and trimming out. Anyone who has their own rig can have modifications done during this portion of the class. Several dives in which we will get you horizontally trim and introduce and practice sidemount diving skills. At the completion of the class you will be able to receive an IANTD or TDI sidemount diver certification (20 EUR certification processing fee). Any instructor who has sufficient experience diving sidemount should contact me for details about becoming a sidemount instructor.
There is a minimum number of students required for the clinic or class to happen. I already have half the required number. Spots are limited due to student to instructor ratios. Anyone who is interested must send in a deposit by March 15.
