Several others have just come on the market including one made by Backscatter that may serve your purpose at a lower cost.

Backscatter AirLock Vacuum System with Manual Valve
I understand they will make a basic system with just a port and pump and also a "smart" unit that senses vacuum levels with alarms.
Nauticam is also developing a smart vacuum system and should be out this year. Probably the best value in smart systems shipping today is the Sentinel for around $280:
