Service- Strobes? Send with batteries? (Kind of foolish question)

I have a Housing that is several years old and a pair of D160's that are about the same age. Not more than 200 dives
Want to sen them for service-maintenance before a big trip in the fall

do you send the strobes with or without the batteries?

Send them with the batteries so the strobes can be seviced and checked as complete units.
