Channel Islands Dive Adventures has the Explorer chartered for a trip to the wreck of the Spirit of America & Santa Cruz Island on Sunday, April 7, 2013. This should be a fun day with a little of both to please everyone with wreck and reef dives.

The Spirit of America sits on a sandy bottom at about 65′ deep and can be a great dive with some of the biggest Spanish Shawls that you will see. The Spirit of America is very photogenic and is a great dive for the photographer and sightseer and it seems to be overlooked by most dive boats. Afterwards we will hopefully try a couple of new spots on the front eastward end of Santa Cruz. The depths at these sites will probably be 60′ or less.
