Some lucky person is going to leave Chamber Evening on May 1 and as they are exiting the Aquarium of the Pacific and walking out to the parking structure, they're going to say, "I still can't believe I just won a week of diving in Yap!!!"
That's right, our top raffle prize at Chamber Evening will be a full week of diving with our good friends (and Chamber supporters) at Manta Ray Bay Hotel & Yap Divers. If you're the winner, you'll have the opportunity to dive the famous manta cleaning station at Stammtisch, where graceful Giant Pacific Manta Rays will gracefully swirl mere inches from your head as they glide in to be cleaned. Plus you'll be able to experience the swim-throughs of Yap Caverns, the magnificent beauty of Gilman and Lionfish Walls, and the serene beauty of Magic Kingdom.
The Yap trip is our top prize of Chamber Evening tis year (Wednesday, May 1 - in case you forgot). As such, it will NOT be part of the pick-a-prize (usually 20+ prizes) during the regular raffle drawings throughout the evening. The week in Yap will be the last prize given out, and will happen at the end of the evening as soon as we're done with the check presentation. (And please note, you MUST be present to win.)
But you won't need to buy any special tickets to win the week in Yap with Manta Ray Bay. The drawing will be done from our regular evening raffle tickets and everyone automatically gets five of those when they purchase their Chamber Evening ticket. Of course, you can increase your chances of spending a week in Yap by buying more raffle tickets once you arrive at the Aquarium. The more tickets you buy, the better your odds of winning are (and the more money we raise for our Chamber, which is the point in the first place).
Some caveats about the prize:
• 7 nights at Manta Ray Bay Hotel in a standard room
• 5 days of 2-tank boat dives with Yap Divers (on the property)
• Daily breakfast on the Mnuw
• Airport transfers in Yap
• Hotel &/or dive upgrades available for an extra price
• Airfare to Yap not included
• Travel must be completed by May 1, 2014
• Retail value of this package is $1,572.00
