CHUM meeting this Thursday, April 18th! Please join us at Stags Head Pub to hear a presentation by Dr Thomas Illife. Dr Illife is an A&M Galveston professor who has been featured in National Geographic and Popular Science. He is also involved with the exploration of Phantom Springs Cave which is now recognized as the deepest natural water-filled cave in the United States and is located right here in Texas! The meeting officially kicks off at 7:30 pm, but folks usually start showing up between 6:30 & 7:00 to get a seat, order some food and chat with fellow CHUMmers.
