We got BIBS!!!! In a big way!!!!
We told you a little less than two week sago about our need for 10 new BIBS masks at a cost of $1,525 each and asked that if you can fund/sponsor one for us, you do so. Anyone sponsoring a mask will have their name listed on a sign that will reside at the Chamber indicating said sponsorship.
Well Scott Bruce & Ronnie Chen have steeped up in a big way with a $3050 donation that will fund TWO of the masks. Best of all, Scott is employed by Google and they have a matching grant program where they will match up to $3,000 of a employee's contribution. So that gets us two MORE masks (we'll find the extra $100).
On top of that, we've been able to secure an agreement with the BIBS manufacturer, that if we buy 8 at $1,525 each, THEY'LL GIVE US #9 AND #10 FOR FREE!!! That's like getting a 20% discount. More importantly, it means we only need to fund TWO more masks to get them all.
