Well we had the pleasure of diving the Comet in Kinston. The Comet is a dual paddle wheeler that sank in 1861 and is in remarkable shape considering its age.

Nice! Had the chance to get on it back quite a few years. Lake was a sheet of glass, and 20' down the line, the wife thumbed the dive.... maybe some day again...

The Comet certainly is a nice wreck. It's amazing that the paddle wheels are still in tact this long after the sinking (sank in 1861).
