can i extend my sa100 strobe arms with i - das arms and clamps?

You´re right, the arm balls of SA100 from ikelite have 1" my doubt came from the fact that it don´t have a ring. I´ve seen better in the ikelite site and the sa100 are compatible with ULCS and TLC so they are compatible with i-das.
I´ve save some money going for i-das!!
