Seems like a trivial issue, but... sent our Delta 4.1 regs out for service. Mine came back with the original mouthpiece. My wife's came back with a new clear one and they returned the original in the used parts bag. Looking at it, I cannot see any reason for it to have been replaced. The bite tabs aren't worn, there are no tears or signs of wear on it at all.
I wouldn't care, but the new mouthpiece is different. It is smaller, is not as soft, and not as comfortable. In short, my wife hates the feel of the new mouthpiece.
I have a comfo-bite mouthpiece in the save-a-dive kit, but she doesn't like that one much either. I looked, but couldn't find an OEM replacement for the original mouthpiece. Anyone know where I can get the original Oceanic mouthpiece (black with the raised gray cushions in the bite tabs)?
As a last resort, I'll give her mine, which will get her through this season but if/when they replace that I'll be in trouble.
