Seafood. Many of us love to eat it, but how many of us really understand how it gets from the boat to our plate?
Please join us this Thursday, July 18th for the CHUM monthly meeting. Chris Harrell, Vice President of Louisiana Foods, a major commercial seafood supplier, will be coming to tell us about the seafood supply chain and discuss sustainable seafood and some of the sustainable solutions available in today's marketplace.
We begin the "official" part of the meeting at 7:30 pm, but feel free to come early and stay late for food, beverages, and good company. We'll have another nice door prize for a lucky attendee. The meetings are held at Stags Head Pub, 2128 Portsmouth, in the Oak Room.
