Hi all,

Ok...The economy forced my wife and me to abandon diving for a couple years. Now we want to get back into it and we're planning on doing the bunny slopes (Casino Point) to get practiced again. But first, I need to have someone check my gear.

There was a gentleman - and I think his name is Dave - in the Canyon Country area who did this for me last time, but it's been so long I'm not certain of even that. Don't even know if he's still around.

Anyway, can anyone recommend someone in the Santa Clarita or Antelope Valley areas who is both highly capable and reasonably priced? I mean, the cash flow still isn't great, so that last is kind of important.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Congratulations on returning to diving!

Glynn Palmer / Malibu Scuba Repair is fantastic, and you can drop off your gear at Scuba Instruments in in Valencia for him - see Malibu Scuba Repair for details. He services gear for a lot of the dive shops in the area, reasonable prices and extremely knowledgeable and competent. He does pick ups / drop offs on Thursday and typically one week turnaround, unless you're in a big hurry

Another vote for Glynn. That guy is a real professional.
