Put on your eye patches and get out your wooden spoons. For our September local dive outing, CHUM will be joining in the Dive Pirate Foundation's 3rd Annual Cutthroat Chili Cookoff and Underwater Scavenger Hunt at the Blue Lagoon.

This a great day out for divers and non-divers and all in aid of a great cause. Dive Pirates supports, trains, equips, and provides dive travel to individuals with disabilities through Adaptive Scuba Diving.

As part of the treasure hunt there is plenty of excellent booty, past years have seen BCs and dive computers amongst the haul.

Cost of the day is $20, which includes chili tasting. You can pre-register and pay at the link above.

If there is interest we could also enter a CHUM chili in the contest as well. Entry for a chili team is an additional $20, with cash prizes.

We'll have nice contingent there on team CHUM. Please let us know if you'd like to join us & we can get you more details.

Looking forward to tomorrow at the Blue Lagoon!
