An unidentified male diver died Sunday morning of a possible heart attack while swimming with a friend in the ocean off Rancho Palos Verdes’ Terranea Resort, authorities said. The diver managed to get himself out of the water, but was later pronounced dead on the beach. His body was airlifted by helicopter from the rocky beach below the luxury resort.

Reverand Al sent this to me this morning;
Hadn't seen these guys at OML before. It was 2 or 3 spearos diving in the cove. It was pretty spooky as 4 of us entered at the point and Dennis Gunn went solo in the cove. We came up in the cove an hour later and saw EMTs and firemen all over the beach pounding a guy's chest. Our first thought was that it might be Dennis, but as it turned out, he was already in the parking lot. Lots of excitement with that chopper circling overhead.
