NEWSFLASH! HI Shark Spooked by Sneezing Diver!

It's true. I was taking a photo of a white tip reef shark yesterday and as I approached him I felt a sneeze coming on. I don't know if you've sneezed underwater while scuba diving before but it can be kind of weird and I can feel it in my whole body. I can't say the feeling is all good...

Anyway, I was taking pictures of a resting shark and I sneezed and the shark took off! I just wish I was shooting a video and not a still shot at the time... then more of you would believe me that sharks are afraid of sneezing divers!!

I've had that happen with soupfins (tope sharks) here... they're pretty skittish. Exhaling through your reg can sent them flying.

Haven't sneezed while diving yet, don't think I really want to :biggrin:
Poor shark, didn't know what was gonna get him. lol
