Boatman,

The AF35 tray has a thru hole to mount a camera or housing with a 1/4"-20 bolt. There are two potentially problematic issues:

1. The camera may tend to swivel or rotate on the tray during use. You might be able to affix a thin piece of rubber to the tray surrounding the mounting bolt to reduce this action.

2. The camera must emit a pre-flash. The AF35 is designed to see and ignore a pre-flash, and then fire on the main flash. The flash duration can then be set on the AF35 "Auto Exposure Selector Dial." The AF35 is not designed for fiber optic use.

Best Regards,

Brett, Thanks for the quick reply. My wife bought me the Flash last year and it only has about eight ndives on it and I flooded the camera. It was an old canon so mno huge loss, but it will be expensive to replace and Scuba.com had the Mini 2 for $100.00 . I just thought if I can pair the two, I have the best of both worlds.
