I got nitrox certified about 5 years ago and imediately went out and bought an O2 tester. well I have never used it, because when I get Nitrox at a shop I use their tester.

I assume that it is now trash or at the very least needs a new sensor. since I have never used it, I guess it will just sit in the box forever.

what would you do with it? not thinking ebay is very nice without a large bold warning. Am I wrong about the sensor?:D

More than likely the sensor is trash by now. At the very least it would need to be verified with another unit for accuracy. A disclaimer on the sensor should be included with an advertisement.

Replacing the sensor is no big deal--they're a disposable item.
