NFSA divers yesterday found a one to two ton rock has shifted/fallen into Challenge sink today 9/14/2013.

The divers report that backmounted divers cannot pass that rock, Sidemount divers may be able to pass it. Clearly the rock may not be stable since it fell in the past few days.

Divers should not plan to conduct dives that include Challenge Sink as an exit point. It also seems that running the mile long traverse will not be possible right now.

We will keep you posted...
