I have what I think is an early version of the Hollis Mini3 light. I was never really convinced of the light as the beam had a very distinct and not very symmetrical hotspot. My buddy just recently got one and his spot looks very uniform and nice. Closer inspection revealed that his version has a different diffuser insert. Are there really two versions and can one get the new insert separately?
