VT 4.1 replacing lens protector

Assuming it's the same as the 4.0.
With a tiny flat screwdriver or thin knife tip, gently lever the tabs on the protector up on one side. It will just pop off.
Now, before you put the new one one, get yourself a roll of clear packing tape and put a layer on the outside of the new one and trim the edges flush.
Install by seating the tabs on one side, then gently persuading the tabs on the other side into place with your screwdriver. When the tape gets scarred enough, remove the protector from the computer, remove the tape and replace with new tape.
