What do you think of our year round diving on the Colorado River?
Come out and play with us sometime in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Where are the shore diving locations closest to the city? What are the average summer water temps? Where are the dive shops?

That's pretty darned good viz for a lake!

I've been in Havasu. It's not always like that!

Actually, since the zebra muscle invasion, they filter so much water per day, the lake has many days where the visibility is that good. Sometimes, it is less, admittedly. But, the days of poor visibility are long gone. Also, it is a river reservoir, not a true lake. The water has a current and is replenished monthly by draw downriver and through two (2) southwest aqueducts. See the quagga muscles in action here: Quagga Mussel Collection for Reasearch - YouTube

I would say, check out my profile on DiveBoard.com here:scuba diving logbook on Diveboard It has a few dive spots, info and the local dive shop. Enjoy!

Site 5 is not where I thought it was. What is the site on the north side of the island called? If I recall there was a paved road that just continued into the water in that area headed roughly NNE.
