Well, I opened the thread to chuckle, myself . . . but I have seen the utility of the DiveAlert (the sound carries a long way in still air) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my dive parka (TruWest!), so I think you're right. I could do without a titanium dive knife (I do, actually) and the Spare Air is silly, but the other two are legit, and a dive parka is a really nice gift. (That's how I got mine!)
