Council for Sustainable Fishing

This Organization is trying to unite all those with any interests in Coastal fisheries,a novel concept as usually groups represent one aspect. They are hoping to align consumers, retailers, wholesalers, fisheremen and manufacturers to insure the practices used and the regulations passed reflect the best possible methods to allow all users access to the fishery and that regulations strike the balance needed to allow fishing in a manner that insures future generations the same healthy fish stocks.
Past management SNAFUs have led to stock collapse on some stocks while underutilizing others that may take pressure off the stressed stocks.
