Friend of mine in VT back in 2009 or so; I dove off the roof into the same drift shortly thereafter.

there are more colorado folks on here than i expected.

I've often heard that Colorado has more divers per capita than any other state in the US. I don't know if that is true, but there are certainly a lot of us.

That was my thought, too...but when we tunneled into them, it turned out they were 100% snow. I think something like 30" of actual powder fell the night we pulled in for that week of skiing...crazy good conditions for a college week.
