i will be going to maui august 27th thru september 20th or longer to do my idc and test in lahaina with lahaina divers and want to find a place in lahaina i can rent for pretty much a month. any ideas out there ??

Either Aina Nalu or Lahaina Shores condos. Both go by the week but you might contact some of the owners. Aina Nalu is about 2 blocks inland from the LD shop.

I've had pretty good luck checking VRBO. The last time we went, we had a perfectly acceptable condo across the street from the beach, and I think it was about $80 a night.

This is not in Lahaina but in case others are following this thread and looking for something in Kihei, try this: These are beautiful, recently remodeled luxury condos at very affordable rates. Only problem is they keep getting booked up too fast!
