I am not so sure. Yes, the breathing mechanism is the same, but the exhaust valve and purge placement or other aspects of the design might be different? I personally am not clear on the differences and I think a factory rep's input would be very useful here.

I am definitely going to get one of these regs, as I was a Tekna/Omega servo regulator diver in the 80s and they were absolutely without equal.

I am thrilled to see the return of the Omega, but, like burhan, I would like to have more information on the differences.
 
by reading both regulators descriptions:
Ocenic Omega 3 - has Simple twist dive/pre-dive adjustment
Hollis 500SE - do not has :(
