Spent a week there a few years back. Before I was a scuba diver but I would hike down to the ocean and snorkel during every lunch break. Water was warm enough to snorkel in a swim suit and water clarity was very good. This was mid summer.

Seafood is awesome. Great island. Most of the tourists seemed to be Italian.

I was there recently. I used explorers team dive centre located close to Cagliari and was very happy with them. Cool WWII wrecks. They offer diving and courses for both rec and tech divers. And speak good English, which is not necessary always the case in Italy.
