Greetings. Up here in the southern part of Maine where it's still chilly. I'm interested in snorkeling for Quahogs. I have heard that they are in sandy areas in waist deep water during low tide. Does anyone have any more specific information that I might use to narrow down locations on the coast to hunt these things? It's rumored if they are minced or ground up, they are great for clam cakes and clam chowder. Any with any experience?

Thanks!
